Centennial, Colorado, United States
Movement Centennial opened in April 2024 on East County Line Road, close to the Denver Tech Center (and IKEA). The 41,000 sq ft building holds 28,000 square feet of climbing built by Walltopia, with walls up to 55 feet high, and the gym currently lists 105 roped routes and 108 boulder problems. There are top ropes, lead routes and a lead cave, a speed wall, and a training area with hydraulic system boards and campus boards.
There's plenty of parking in the gym's own car park, and Dry Creek station on the RTD E and R lines is just under 20 minutes' walk away. Movement says weekday mornings and early afternoons are the quietest times.
Alongside the walls are a fitness area with weights and cardio machines, a yoga studio with classes every day, locker rooms with showers and towel service, a gear shop and lounge areas. The building is ADA accessible, with accessible restrooms and climbing areas.
Beginners can start with an introduction to rope climbing or bouldering and then learn to lead, and a series of indoor classes prepares climbers for the crag, from self-rescue to crack climbing. Children from 4 to 17 have after-school programmes, Kids Climb Time and school-break camps, and families can book climbs with an instructor handling the ropes. Monthly community nights include Ladies+ Climb Night, Queer Climb Night with Queer Climbing Colorado, Escala meet-ups for Hispanic and Latine climbers, partner and new-member meet-ups, and speed climbing nights.

“I wanted to thank Movement Centennial for hosting The USAC Youth Series Regional Boulder event this past weekend! … Stellar setting - fun environment.”
“…there was an exorbitant amount of wall space to explore. … despite the gym being relatively new, a decent fraction of the handholds were uncharacteristically dirty.”
“They offer a lot of obstacles and routes, some easy and some really hard! I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try rock climbing!”
