Santa Clara, California, United States
Movement Santa Clara is a bouldering gym on Martin Avenue, a few miles from 2901 Mead Avenue, where Planet Granite opened its first gym in 1994. That original gym later moved to Sunnyvale, and this gym brought the chain back to Santa Clara. A membership here covers every Movement gym in the US.
There are no ropes: the gym has about 10,000 sq ft of bouldering walls up to 15 feet, with around 175 problems for beginners and experts alike and a separate kids' climbing area. Training kit includes system boards and campus boards, and recent visitors mention a MoonBoard. Short Bouldering Basics orientations and the Intro to Bouldering class help newcomers get started.

“Huge variety of climbs with consistent grading. Also equipped with a solid set of work out equipment and moonboard.”
“Climbing routes range from beginner (v0) to advanced (v8+) and are updated on a regular basis. … Facilities are clean and include showers. There is no sauna”
“First, the gym is packed nowadays, particularly around 5-9pm. It can get very humid and rank, so be prepared for that. More/better ventilation is definitely needed in this facility.”
