Golden, Colorado, United States
Movement Golden sits on Golden Ridge Road, just outside Clear Creek Canyon. It opened in 2013 as Earth Treks Golden, the Maryland company's first gym in Colorado, with walls designed by Jason Kehl and built by Walltopia, and it has traded as Movement since the 2021 rebrand. A membership here covers every Movement gym in the country.
The gym is two storeys high, with 27,600 sq ft of climbing, roped walls up to 45 feet and a lead cave, and it lists around 233 routes and 126 boulder problems. Its best-known features are an overhanging arch and a top-out boulder, and the training area has campus and system boards. Roped climbing is on top rope and lead; Movement's Colorado gyms have no auto-belays.
The gym has its own car park, with street parking on Golden Ridge Road, and Jefferson County Government Center–Golden station on RTD's W Line is just over ten minutes' walk away. It is ADA accessible.
