Plainsboro, New Jersey, United States
The Gravity Vault's Princeton gym opened in December 2024 in Plainsboro Plaza on Schalks Crossing Road, beside the Asian Food Market. It covers 17,500 sq ft, with roped walls of 30ft and more, bouldering walls of 14 to 16ft over thick padded flooring, and 20ft party walls for children.
Walk-in climbing gives newcomers two top-rope climbs with an instructor and all the gear, with no booking. Climbers aged 14 and over who already belay with a Grigri can take a free belay test, and everyone else can book a top-rope belay class; lead climbing is open from 16 after a lead test or the lead class. Private one-hour sessions with a staff belayer suit families and small groups.
Yoga runs on several weekday evenings and is free for members. There are children's classes from age 5, holiday camps, youth teams, birthday parties, monthly women's and LGBTQ+ meetups, locker rooms with showers, a pro shop, two party rooms and a lounge with a ping-pong table and free Wi-Fi.

“For walk‑ins, they provide all the necessary equipment along with an instructor for two climbs. They also have a bouldering wall, which you climb without a harness.”
“I've got to say the rules the labeling and the way the place is run is fantastic. … there's a wheelchair ramp and it's the only rock gym I've seen with one.”
