Gravity Vault's first Lehigh Valley gym opened in March 2025 in the former PA Fitness space at Whitehall Mall (now Whitehall Plaza), a building that started life as a cinema. The entrance is round the back of the mall, and the gym warns that some map apps send visitors to a similarly named venue in Allentown.
Boulderers get a quick orientation, while anyone using the ropes or auto-belays has to pass a belay test (a figure-of-eight follow-through and a GriGri belay); there is a belay class for anyone who needs one. New climbers can book a staff-belayed hour or turn up for walk-in climbing with an instructor. Sign the waiver online before you come: it is needed even to watch. There are locker rooms with showers, a lounge and work space with Wi-Fi, party rooms and a full retail shop.
The gym runs kids' classes and drop-in sessions for ages 5 to 14, youth climbing teams, break and summer camps, scout sessions, lead and technique classes and team-building events. It also hosts its own bouldering league and Reel Rock screenings, and a USA Climbing youth bouldering qualifier in February 2027.

“Great new gym to the area, a nice open space and good number of rope climbs and lead climbs. The boulder space is fantastic with a lot of variety in the design of the walls.”
