Central Rock Gym Worcester is the chain's branch at 299 Barber Avenue in Worcester, Massachusetts. It has around 16,000 sq ft of climbing terrain, including about 4,000 sq ft of bouldering, a 42 ft lead wall and 68 top-rope and lead stations, with auto-belays for climbing without a partner. The main gym has a feature arch with a lead cave, there is a kids' climbing area, and a newer expansion holds more boulders. The setters post a Boulder of the Week on Instagram.
Off the wall there is a Kilter Board, a fitness area with cardio machines and weights, a yoga studio with classes every day, and a recovery room with a sauna and cold plunge. Yoga is free for members; non-members pay $15, or $5 on top of a day pass.
Children can join Climbing Club Jr (ages 4 to 7) or Climbing Club (8 to 13), the recreational team (10 to 16) or the competitive team, which trains for USA Climbing competitions, and there are school-holiday camps. Members find partners at free weekly meetups, and volunteers run adaptive climbing sessions for climbers with disabilities. The gym also hosts competitions such as the Fall Friendzy Rope Rally, as well as birthday parties and corporate events.

“A staple of Worcester for many, especially college kids like at WPI. Is of course pricey, but the staff are great and the walls, sets, and equipment are quite good.”
“Fun for all ages! Multiple different climbs for beginners through experienced. The staff are friendly and the facility is clean and orderly.”
“…The staff here is wonderful, if you’re new to climbing they are more than happy to give you tips for holding grips…”
