Framingham, Massachusetts, United States
Central Rock Gym Framingham, at 1451 Concord St in Framingham, Massachusetts, is a bouldering-only branch of the Central Rock Gym chain, so there are no ropes or harnesses. Around 6,000 sq ft of climbing terrain sits in a building of roughly 10,000 sq ft, with a Kilter Board, a new competition-style wall (October 2026) and a Slab of the Week wall that is reset every week.
About 4,000 sq ft is given over to fitness and yoga, with a cardio area, downstairs weight rooms and yoga classes that are free for members and open to non-members with a day pass.
First-timers can book Intro to Climbing, which includes a day pass and rental gear, and the four-part Climbing Progression Program builds technique and is free for members. Private coaching can be arranged, and visiting coaches run occasional clinics, such as Louis Parkinson's dynamic movement and projecting sessions in November 2026.
Children aged 7 to 12 can climb with a chaperone within arm's reach until 6pm Monday to Thursday, all day on Fridays and until 3pm at weekends. The gym suggests other CRG branches for under-7s and doesn't host kids' birthday parties. A Junior Recreational Team (ages 7 to 13) trains through the autumn, summer and school-vacation camps run here, and groups and companies can book events.
