Climbing at Life Time Centreville

Life Time Centreville is a 90,000 sq ft athletic club where I-66 meets Route 29, open since January 2000. It has a sculpted rock wall: a 2017 video shows top-rope climbing on it, the club published staffed Rock Wall hours on weekday evenings and Saturday afternoons until at least early 2023, and Life Time's member site still listed the wall with classes and open climbing in late 2025.

Climbing now

The club's current pages publish no Rock Wall hours or open-climb sessions, and it no longer has a rock-climbing page. Climbing now runs as kids' programmes: instructor-led Traverse Wall classes for ages 3 to 11, in which children learn to climb sideways across the wall, run on Monday to Thursday evenings, and Life Time lists Rockwall Climbing for children aged five and up. Both need the child to be on a Life Time membership, so check with the club before planning to climb yourself.

Membership starts at $199 a month, month to month, and non-members can buy a $50 day pass for the club's other facilities.

  • Workout floor with free weights, racks, Olympic platforms and machines, plus cardio
  • Group fitness, Pilates and yoga studios, and a basketball gym
  • Pickleball courts and indoor leisure and lap pools
  • Saunas, steam rooms, a whirlpool and a cold plunge
