Flow Bouldering is an independent, family-owned bouldering gym in a big warehouse at Forest Glen on the Sunshine Coast, just off the Maroochydore exit of the Bruce Highway. It opened in February 2021 with walls and matting built by Brisbane's Indoor Climbing Productions (ICP), and the building has more than 1,000 m² of floor space. In its first year it hosted the Queensland Open Boulder Championships, and each winter it runs its own UV-lit social competition, ICP Neon Nights.
The café serves specialty coffee and snacks in a relaxed seating area, and a small shop sells gear and merchandise. Dogs are welcome if they're house-trained and kept on a lead on the concrete areas, away from the mats. Climbing shoes ($5) and chalk ($3) are for hire.
Classes include an Introduction to Bouldering, kids' clubs for ages 8 to 16, an under-18 squad, Friday fitness and yoga sessions, one-to-one coaching and a monthly Ladies Night coaching session. Casual visits need no booking: complete the waiver online or at reception and staff give a short safety briefing. Under-16s must be supervised, with one adult for every two children.

“The staff also seem to be interested and proactive with setting, keeping things fresh. Which is usually the biggest problem with gyms! … The intergration with 'Griptonite' is a nice feature.”
“Handy location just off the Bruce Highway with loads of parking. Large climbing area with routes for all skill levels. Friendly, professional staff were very helpful.”
