Pasadena, California, United States
The Post is a Touchstone Climbing gym on North Fair Oaks Avenue in Pasadena. It opened in 2022 in a historic US Post Office building, once named after Jackie Robinson, who grew up in the neighbourhood. Touchstone raised the roof and dug out the floor to fit 40 ft walls, making The Post its second Southern California gym with roped climbing.
The fitness floor has free weights, power racks, a cable machine, treadmills, a stepmill, rowers, a SkiErg and Pelotons, and there is a dry sauna with showers, lockers and free towel service. Membership includes yoga and fitness classes and use of every Touchstone gym in California. The gym also runs technique and lead clinics, private lessons, after-school and summer camps for 7 to 12-year-olds, youth club and competition teams, birthday parties and group events.
Regular affinity meetups include Queer Crush, Lady Crush Crew, The People's Climbing Crew, Escalemos, Black Summit Collective and the adaptive climbing group ParaCliffHangers. A 76-space car park is entered from Hammond Street, and the building is wheelchair accessible.

“Bouldering section is really beginner friendly, lots of V1s and V2s, could use some more V3s imo… The crowds at the bouldering section especially around 4-6 can be bad.”
“The space feels nice and cool inside, which makes a difference when you’re moving around. It looks fairly clean and there’s a good amount of people here without it feeling overcrowded.”
“My favorite climbing gym. Never too crowded. Great mixture of routes and it does seem like they are always setting new routes.”
