Klatreverket Bryn

Klatreverket Bryn is the chain's bouldering centre at Bryn in eastern Oslo, close to Brynseng metro station. It has two floors of bouldering with around 125 problems on the walls at any time, and about 25 of them are replaced every week.

Climbing

• Ground floor: overhanging walls and a "Fontainebleau" bulge with a steep start and a slab top-out on the right, and a big slab wall, vertical walls and a deep, steep cave in the room on the left.
• Upper floor: shorter vertical walls that suit beginners, in a bright space with windows on every side.
• Boards and training: a 40° MoonBoard with the 2024 set and all its hold sets, a Kilter Board adjustable from 30° to 70°, a 28° spray wall that is also used for courses, and a training room with campus and finger boards, a barbell, dumbbells and kettlebells.

Visiting

Bouldering needs no experience or certificate, and tickets and cards are shared with the other Klatreverket centres. Friendly dogs are welcome on a lead, up to three at a time, but not on the mats or in the training room. The changing rooms have showers, toilets and lockers (bring your own padlock), and there is a baby-changing table in the unisex toilet. The shop sells shoes, crash pads, clothing and guidebooks while reception is open. There is plenty of paid parking nearby, plus two free spaces marked Klatreverket outside the entrance.
