Brak Buldring

Brak Buldring is a bouldering centre on Kampen in eastern Oslo that opened in 2026. It was built as a social meeting place with bouldering at its heart: there is a café and bar serving coffee and beer, and regular events such as film nights, quizzes, DJ nights and competitions.

Climbing

  • Bouldering: about 569 m² of Walltopia bouldering walls with varied terrain, over Climbmat matting.
  • Training: a Walltopia Quantum Board, an LED board run from an app, and other adjustable-angle training boards.
  • Children: a kids' area with climbing and play, and weekly 90-minute bouldering courses for ages 5–7 and 7–9 (NOK 3,500 a term, shoes included).

Visiting

Brak is bouldering only, so no belay certificate is needed. It opens at 08:00 on weekdays and 09:00 at weekends, and closes at 23:00 every day. You can buy a drop-in ticket, a 10- or 20-visit card, a half-year or annual card, or a membership; memberships can include the sauna and yoga, and students get 15% off them.
