Clip 'n Climb at Westfield Carousel

iPlay Carousel is a family entertainment centre on level 2 of Westfield Carousel in Cannington, in Perth's south-east. It's one of the two iPlay venues with a Clip 'n Climb zone, and also has an arcade, drift dodgems and a licensed café and bar. The climbing is a set of colourful challenge walls and features, including a stack of giant spheres, each climbed on a self-lowering auto-belay. There's no ropework or belaying to learn: staff fit your harness, clip you in and you climb.

Visiting

  • Sessions last 45 minutes, including a safety briefing, and start on the hour from 11:00 to 17:00. Booking online is recommended, especially at weekends and in the school holidays.
  • Adults pay $15 and children $12.
  • Climbers must be at least five and weigh between 10 and 136 kg, and under-12s need an adult supervising them throughout. Wear loose clothing and enclosed flat shoes.
  • Everyone signs a safety waiver, signed by a parent or guardian for under-18s.
  • The rooftop car park, entered from Albany Highway, is closest; the centre is on level 2.

Birthday parties and school, youth and corporate groups can be booked, usually with five days' notice.
