Perth, Western Australia, Australia
Oasis Climbing is an indoor climbing centre on Harris Road in Malaga, about 11 km north of Perth's CBD. It runs on the walls of City Summit, one of Perth's first indoor climbing centres, and calls itself the city's largest lead-climbing gym. Walk-ins are welcome without booking for groups of fewer than ten, and every first-timer gets an induction covering safety, belaying and climbing tips.
Routes are set with low starting footholds so children can join in: climbs are aimed at ages six and up, though four-year-olds fit the smallest harnesses. Parents are taught to belay their own children, and belayers must be at least 12.
The gym is air-conditioned, with a warm-up and strength area (squat rack, bench, kettlebells, rings, hangboards and a campus board), a café serving coffee and snacks, and the ProShop for shoes, harnesses and hardware. Parking is free. Coaching comes from ClimbWell, the gym's coaching and exercise-physiology team, with weekly courses from Pebbles (ages 4–6) to the adult Academy, school-holiday and home-school programmes, private and lead lessons, and NDIS sessions. The gym also runs the Sunset Sends community competition each October and hosts the 2026 WA Lead State Titles.

“We had a party for my daughter here today and all the girls had an absolute blast. The staff member running the party was amazing — he was so helpful, supportive, and great with the kids.”
