Boulderbar Seestadt opened in 2021 in Aspern Seestadt, Vienna's new lakeside district across the Danube, a few minutes' walk from the Seestadt U2 station and ten from Aspern Nord railway station. Drivers can park in the Kulturgarage Seestadt for €4 a day, three minutes away. The bright hall has about 1,300 m² of floor space and around 1,400 m² of climbing on walls up to 4.5 m, spread over three floors beside big windows, plus two outdoor areas. Problems are set in single hold colours, and wifi is free.
There's a 12×12 Kilter Board Original with kickboard and a MoonBoard (2019 set, wooden holds). The basement training area has a campus board with edges and slopers, hangboards, a pegboard, a pinch block, rings, a weight bench, kettlebells, a barbell rack, dumbbells, wall bars, an ergometer, a ski trainer and a rowing machine. In summer 2026 the basement bouldering area became a family zone, and the ground floor keeps a separate children's area; both suit children from age 3. Children's courses and birthday parties are available.
From 1 October 2026 the hall opens at 10:00 on weekdays and at 09:00 at weekends, on public holidays and in school holidays. A free beginners' workshop for anyone aged 14 or over runs on Thursdays from 18:00 to 19:00 (not in school holidays), and students pay less on Wednesdays. The bar serves pizzas, vegan dishes, toasties, stews, snacks and homemade cake. Under-14s must climb with an adult. Tickets and passes are shared with the other Vienna halls and St. Pölten.

“Really nice bouldering gym. Clever routes, a lot (A LOT!) of slabs (which I love)… I found grading to be easier than other gyms, that said, here it's graded by the Font scale (5C, 6B, etc)…”
“Great place to hangout with friends. They have different levels of difficulty. The guy on the reception was friendly and spoke English. Cafe was also good. Would recommend”
