High Point Climbing Orlando

High Point’s first gym in Florida opened in 2025 in Orlando’s Packing District, on Stanhome Way. The 45,000 sq ft building is billed as the largest climbing gym in the state, and Walltopia built close to 29,000 sq ft of climbing surface for it.

Climbing

  • A 52ft rope area for top-rope and lead climbing, with auto-belays for climbing solo
  • A competition speed wall, one of only two in Florida, used for USA Climbing events
  • A large bouldering area and a training area with boards and a spray wall
  • A 4,000 sq ft Kid Zone with fun walls for younger children

Beyond climbing

Day passes and memberships include the fitness area, with weights, strength and cardio machines, and the yoga classes in the gym’s own studio. There are locker rooms with showers, a pro shop and a multi-purpose room for parties and groups of up to 30. Members can also use the child care service.

Classes and events

Newcomers can take a top-rope belay class or the intro to technique clinic, which runs every Sunday; lead, advanced technique, outdoor sport and multi-pitch clinics follow. Youth clubs and teams cater for ages 4 to 18, and middle and high school teams compete in an interscholastic league from November to February. The gym also hosts USA Climbing youth qualifiers and a regional championship.

- 7-visit punch card: $149 ($189 with gear), valid for 12 months at any High Point gym

- Gear hire: shoes and harness $7; shoes $5, harness $4, helmet $3, chalk bag $3, belay device $3, rope $5

- First visit starts with a free orientation; top-rope belaying needs a belay check (minimum age 11, 14 for lead)

- Top-rope belay class with a day pass and gear: $18

- Yoga classes are free with gym entry

- Homeschool days (first and third Tuesday, 10:00 - 14:00): $18 adult and $15 child day passes, gear included

- Saturday evenings from 16:00: buy two or more day passes and get the same number free

- Billed monthly on the 1st; one-month minimum, then cancel any time before the next billing date

- Start-up fee: $49 per person

    A four-hour clinic for climbers already lead-certified at High Point, covering the skills for outdoor sport multi-pitch: finding beta, leading and following, anchor building, rappelling and managing risk. Book ahead.
