About

Tribal Climb at The Jungle

The Jungle Adventure Play on Proprietary Street in Tingalpa, in Brisbane's eastern suburbs, bills itself as Brisbane's largest indoor play centre, and has a sister venue at North Lakes. Its climbing zone, Tribal Climb, is a row of brightly painted fun walls on auto-belays, set for complete beginners through to more confident climbers. Nobody needs to belay: the auto-belay lowers you gently back to the matting when you let go or reach the top.

  • Who can climb: strictly ages 5 and up, in enclosed shoes or Jungle socks.
  • Tickets: climbing comes with the 2- or 3-hour Explorer Pass, which also covers the high ropes and either the Gorilla Warrior obstacle course (ages 10 and over) or the Jungle Time playground (ages 5 to 10). A climb-only after-school ticket is sold on weekday afternoons.
  • Also here: The Canopy high ropes, The Hawk zipline, mini golf, an interactive LED floor game and a toddler playground.

Visiting

Monday to Thursday are the quietest and cheapest days, and on Friday nights a flat-price session runs from 18:00 to 21:00. The licensed Base Camp Café and Vines Restaurant serve coffee and pizzas, with seating that looks over the play areas. The Jungle also hosts adults-only themed nights, school-holiday programmes, parties and corporate team-building days.

- 3-hour Explorer Pass: $45 on Fridays and weekends

- Monday to Thursday: $28 for 2 hours, $38 for 3 hours

- After-school Tribal Climb ticket: $15, Monday to Friday 15:00 - 17:00

- All Day Pass: $40, Monday to Thursday outside school holidays

- Friday Night Wild: $30, 18:00 - 21:00

- Family Explorer Pass saves $8 a person for 2 adults and 2 children, or 1 adult and 3 children

- Companion Card holders get a free pass for a carer
