The Climbing Hangar Sheffield is a vibrant and inclusive climbing gym in the heart of United Kingdom. With a lively atmosphere and welcoming community, it's the perfect place for climbers of all levels to challenge themselves and have fun.

About

The Climbing Hangar Sheffield is a popular climbing gym located in the United Kingdom, known for its diverse range of climbing routes and bouldering walls suitable for climbers of all abilities. Here's an overview based on user reviews and other sources:

  • Routes and Bouldering: The Climbing Hangar Sheffield offers a variety of routes and bouldering problems catering to both beginners and experienced climbers.
  • Friendly Atmosphere: Visitors often note the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at the gym, making it an ideal place for climbers to learn and progress in a supportive environment.
  • Facilities: The gym is equipped with modern facilities, including changing rooms, showers, and a cafe, providing a comfortable and convenient experience for visitors.

Probably the best climbing gym in the UK!

For those unfamiliar, Sheffield has a long history of climbing, and The Hangar is the 5th and newest climbing gym in the city. The Hangar feels a notch above the rest. I've been to a lot of climbing gyms, and I can honestly say this one is the cleanest and feels brand new. Everything from the kitchen and tables to the walls and holds, changing rooms, and toilets is well-kept.

What really makes The Hangar stand out is how it's designed for everyone to enjoy. The route setters are doing an exceptionally good job, setting quality boulders every week, ranging from challenging to beginner friendly climbs. There's always a part of the wall with fresh new climbs, with a great mix of difficulties and styles to keep things interesting. You can train on your own or come with friends for a more of a social activity.
