Great climbing place

The Foundry is an important part of British climbing history, however, it is NOT an ancient, outdated fossil. There are a few bouldering walls with a nice range of problems to keep climbers of all levels entertained. Great training facilities and their own Moon Board.


I was really pleasantly surprised by the number of autobelays in the place. This meant I could tackle a massive range of problems without needing a climbing partner. The main Foundry wall is exciting as well. Was pleasantly surprised that the highly intimidating overhang sported some softer grades so even the beginner lead climber could have a go.
