Sheffield, England, United Kingdom
This sculpted artificial boulder sits on the open playing field of Green Oak Park (Green Oak Recreation Ground) in Totley, on the south-west edge of Sheffield. Photos of it show a chunky block with big scoops, pockets and rounded horizontal breaks, set straight onto the grass.
The park around it also has a fenced children's play area, a football area and adult fitness equipment.
It is one of more than a dozen artificial climbing boulders in Sheffield's parks documented by the community Sheffield Boulders wiki. They are free for anyone to use, with no booking, staff or opening times beyond the park's own, and are meant for fun and training rather than graded problems: the wiki deliberately gives no grades.
