The Stack Davis is a 12,000 sq ft bouldering and fitness gym at 607 Pena Drive, which opened in 2026. It is the bouldering-only sister of The Stack Chico, and both are linked with The Boulder Field in Sacramento: monthly, three-month and annual members can climb at all three.
The gym has about 6,000 sq ft of bouldering designed by professional climber Carlo Traversi, built by Walltopia and padded with flooring by Flashed; there are no roped walls. The setters put up new problems section by section every week, and the gym films a 'problem of the week' for its Instagram. For training there is a 12 ft by 12 ft adjustable LED Kilter Board and a cardio and weight area, and younger climbers have their own area with a top-out and a slide back down.
The café serves espresso drinks, local kombucha and beer on tap, with a happy hour during Thursday game nights and free drip coffee for early climbers on Sunday mornings. There are showers and a pro shop.

“…as someone who does not rope climb, it is really nice to have a space that is fully dedicated to bouldering. The cafe with coffee and beer is such a great bonus!”
