Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium
Stone Age is the climbing hall of the Centre sportif de la Woluwe in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, run by the École d'escalade de la Woluwe. It has about 1,400 m² of climbing on walls up to 15 metres high, with vertical walls, overhangs, slabs and chimneys, and the routes are renewed constantly. A new bouldering room opened in March 2026 with a spray wall, a Kilter Board, a campus board and a training and stretching area, and the route room was renovated over the summer and reopened at the end of August 2026.
The hall is for climbers who can climb and belay safely on their own. Beginners are asked to take the Module sécuritaire first: one session with an instructor and a second on their own to confirm what they've learnt. Instructors are on duty on weekday evenings (from 13:00 on Wednesdays) and all day at weekends. Outside those hours the route room is open only to autonomous climbers with their own harness who hold a Safe Control badge or a Club Alpin Belge card. Lead climbing is limited to set sessions. Children under 14 must have an adult beside them throughout: one adult per child in the route room and per two children in the bouldering room.
Entry is paid at the sports centre's reception, which also hires out shoes outside staffed hours.

A bouldering round of the Brussels-Brabant provincial competition circuit for young club climbers, from under-11 to under-21. Climbers need at least a year of weekly sport-stream classes and enter through their club; national-team climbers can't take part, and registration usually closes three weeks before.
The second round of the 2027 Belgian Boulder Cup, the national bouldering competition. The date is provisional on the federation's calendar, and competitors need a climbing federation membership.
“Very cool climbing gym with a brand new bouldering part. Not all finished yet (hence 4 stars), missing a warm up gym and proper bathroom / wash station. Every week it's getting better though.”
“The routes are really interesting. And they change the routes quite frequently”
