Tweed Heads, New South Wales, Australia
Solid Rock Climbing Centre is a small indoor climbing centre in Unit 2, 41 Corporation Circuit, on an industrial estate in Tweed Heads South, on the New South Wales side of the border with the Gold Coast. It calls itself a centre for purpose, community and connection through climbing, and it has been sharing its climbing nights on Instagram since November 2022.
Most of the climbing is bouldering, on walls with big volumes and brightly coloured holds above thick matting. Taller red and blue panels to one side are set up for top-rope climbing. Visitors say the problems suit any level, though they can feel a little harder than at commercial gyms, and the centre posts its new sets on Instagram when they go up.
Alongside its regular evenings the centre hosts social nights and the occasional social bouldering competition, such as its March 2026 comp with beginner/intermediate and experienced categories. Reviewers describe the staff as friendly and the centre as family friendly. With no website, its Instagram account is the best place to check opening times before you visit.
