About

Outdoor climbing at the Viktoriya sports school

Skalodrom Viktoriya is a 17-metre outdoor climbing wall in the grounds of the Viktoriya Olympic reserve sports school on ul. Industrialnaya in Mogilev. It opened on 24 June 2026, in time for City Day, and is the tallest outdoor wall in Belarus. The school started a sport-climbing department in September 2025, and the wall gives its squads somewhere to train for speed and lead competitions.

The walls

  • Speed lane: the standard speed route in red holds, with timing boards at the top.
  • Lead wall: a 17-metre difficulty wall with routes set in many hold colours.

The wall was built to Olympic standards, and there's a bell at the top to ring when you finish a route. It hosted Mogilev's first open city competition on 17 September 2026, with about 100 young climbers from Mogilev, Shklov and Smolensk.

Visiting

Anyone can book a paid session by phone on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons or on Saturdays. Everyone climbs on a rope: a trained instructor belays, and visitors may only belay once an instructor has checked their skills. Adults can come for a three-hour climbing session without instruction or book a one-to-one or small-group lesson, and there are lessons for children too. Under-18s need a parent's written consent, and every visitor signs the safety log on each visit. Harnesses, belay devices, ropes and climbing shoes (sizes 37 to 40 only) can be hired. There's no adult section yet.

Prices
