Ixelles, Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium
Le Camp Avancé is Le Camp de Base's training hall on the Rue de Theux in Ixelles, opened in 2026 for climbers who want to train and push their limits. Its walls are up to 4.5 metres high and set with demanding, competition-style problems. There are fewer problems than in a usual bouldering hall, and instead of a standard colour scale the setting changes with events and competition simulations, so the hall publishes a calendar of the levels currently up. As a rule, the easiest problems are around the purple to red level at Le Camp de Base.
There's also a Kilter Board with an adjustable angle and hundreds of problems at every grade, and three spray walls: a classic spray wall, a slab for footwork and a coordination area. A yoga room is due to open by the end of 2026 and a weights room in early 2027. The bar is at the end of the mats, and a tunnel leads to Le Camp d'Approche next door and its café, Bon Matin.
