Kjennhallen klatrevegg

Kjennhallen klatrevegg

Kjennhallen is one of Lørenskog municipality's sports halls, at Mailandveien 22 beside Mailand upper secondary school. The hall measures 20 by 40 metres, and the municipality lists a climbing wall and a strength training room among its facilities. There are only a few parking spaces at the hall, and Kjenn turnhall, a separate gymnastics hall, shares the same address.

Visiting

The municipality lets its halls to clubs, groups and others through its online booking system, and Kjennhallen can be booked from 16:30 to 23:00 on weekdays and from 09:00 to 18:00 at weekends. No climbing sessions, prices, belay rules or details of the wall itself, such as its height, are published, and we haven't found a club that climbs here, so ask the municipality before you plan a visit. For club climbing in Lørenskog, Lørenskog Klatreklubb uses the climbing wall in Fjellhamarhallen, and Triaden Klatresenter, a commercial centre about a kilometre away, is open to everyone.
