Görükle Spor Parkı Tırmanma Duvarı

Nilüfer's competition wall

This climbing hall stands in Görükle Spor Parkı on Üniversite Caddesi, in the Görükle neighbourhood of Nilüfer on the western side of Bursa. It is run by Nilüfer Belediyesi, whose youth and sports department has its own climbing coach, and has roped walls 15 m and 18 m high alongside a matted bouldering area.

Competitions and courses

• Rounds of the Turkish speed championships in 2017 and 2019, and the 2018 national speed final
• Nilüfer Belediyesi's national and international lead competitions in 2017 and 2018
• The first Nilüfer Boulder Competition in September 2026, with 116 climbers over two days
• Turkish Mountaineering Federation basic, advanced and coaching courses in 2023 and 2024, and a judges' seminar in 2018

In the summer of 2022 the municipality also brought children from Nilüfer's rural neighbourhoods here to try top-rope climbing with its coach.

Access

The wall isn't run as a public climbing gym, and no opening hours or prices are published. It is mainly used for municipal programmes, club training, federation courses and competitions, so ask Nilüfer Belediyesi or a Bursa climbing club about using it.
