Fredrikstad Buldresenter

Fredrikstad Buldresenter is a bouldering centre at Pancoveien 8 in Gressvik, Fredrikstad. Fredrikstad Klatreklubb opened it in autumn 2025 alongside its older rope centre, Fredrikstad Klatresenter, and hosted a round of the Østlandscup here in May 2026.

Climbing

• Bouldering: 668 m² of Walltopia walls in light and dark wood, with problems for every level from first-timers to experienced climbers.
• Children: a children's section; under-13s must be supervised by an adult.
• Training: a small training room.

Facilities

The café serves coffee, cinnamon buns and panini, and there is a room for working on a laptop. The shop sells climbing shoes, chalk, brushes, tape and climbing clothing. The building is step-free, with a lift and an accessible toilet.

Visiting

You need no booking, course or belay certificate: buy a drop-in ticket at reception, hire shoes if you need them and fill in the club's liability form once before your first visit. Regular sessions include women's bouldering on Thursday evenings, a student evening on Mondays and parent-and-baby bouldering on Wednesday mornings. There are also intro sessions with an instructor, weekly climbing groups for children, teenagers and adults, and instructor-led sessions for groups and companies.
