Buldrerommet – Klatregruppa i Bø

Buldrerommet is the bouldering room of Klatregruppa i Bø, the climbing club for Bø and the surrounding area and a member of the Norwegian Climbing Federation. It is in the basement of Groven Fitness at Sandavegen 8 in Bø, Midt-Telemark. Club volunteers reset the problems on route-setting work days, and the club's activities include bouldering cups.

Access

Visitors can climb by buying a bouldering-room day pass in Groven Fitness's online sign-up portal, paid by Vipps, and the gym is open for self-service training from 05:00 to midnight every day. Club members who pay the club's training fee get regular access through Groven's members app, which costs extra each month and can be paused month by month. Members mustn't let anyone else in.

Take your shoes off upstairs and leave them on the shelves to the left of reception; bags and clothes can go in Groven's changing room downstairs beside the bouldering room.

Club activities

In spring 2026 the club's children's and youth climbing (ages 7 to 17) met on Fridays from 17:00 to 19:00, alternating between the bouldering room and the roped wall at Gullbring Kulturhus. Membership also covers free rope climbing at Gullbring on Fridays from October to March, crash pads to borrow, and the club's trips, courses and social events.
