The Alpenverein Bezirk Feldkirch runs this bouldering room in the basement of the Volksschule Oberau in Feldkirch-Gisingen, beneath the sports hall. It has 160 m² of climbing surface, with varied walls and problems at every grade, and it's open to members and non-members alike once they've signed up. In November 2026 the section runs free beginners' bouldering sessions for adults there.
There are no day tickets. To climb, register for a chip and buy a pass for one, three, six or twelve months: send the signed registration form with a photo to the club by post or as a scanned PDF, pay the fee and a €10 chip deposit by bank transfer, and the chip arrives by post. Passes are extended by email and another transfer. Alpenverein members pay less, and families who are all members get a family rate, with their own children free. Children up to 14 must be with a supervising adult, and 15- to 18-year-olds need their parents' written consent. No more than 20 people may use the room at once, only chalk balls are allowed, and you climb in climbing shoes or clean sports shoes, never barefoot. The doors are locked from 22:00. The entrance is reached from Hämmerlestraße, past the car park beside the sports hall.
