Boulder Jungle opened in the Kepez district of Antalya on 17 December 2022 and bills itself as the city's first dedicated bouldering gym. There are no ropes or harnesses here: the walls are 4 metres high with deep matting underneath, so all you need are climbing shoes and chalk, and both can be hired at the desk.
More than 80 problems are up at any one time, ranging from beginner-friendly climbs to hard testpieces, and at least ten of them are replaced every Monday, so regulars always have something new to work on.
First-timers can book a 45-minute introductory workshop covering how to fall safely, how problems and grades work, and the basic technique needed to climb independently. Children aged 7 and over can join small coaching groups of up to five, and adults can book one-to-one sessions or train as a group. Sessions are run in Turkish or English.
Entry is cheaper on weekdays between 12:00 and 16:00, and climbers under 25 pay student rates. Ten-visit passes and monthly, three-month, six-month and annual memberships are available. There are showers and lockers, and the gym is closed on public holidays.
As we last found them. Prices change, so check the wall's website before you go.
