Yubup Park Bouldering Wall is a free public bouldering wall in Yubup Park, a pocket park on Frith Street, a block east of Sydney Road in Brunswick. Merri-bek City Council bought the former industrial site and turned it into a park through its A Park Close to Home program, and the mayor opened it on 14 September 2024. Its name means parakeet in Woi-wurrung. The block was once home to the head office of the Fletcher Jones clothing company and a steel foundry, and the park keeps parts of both, from the old roof trusses to the Fletcher Jones façade.
The council describes it as a bespoke bouldering wall. Bouldering Australia custom-designed it with the council and the park's landscape architects as a sculptural centrepiece for the site, and it was made in Melbourne from steel and UV-stable materials. Angled grey panels covered in coloured holds rise over rubber matting, facing a large bird mural on an old brick wall, and the climbs are set for every ability.
