Sint-Pieters-Leeuw's Wildersportcomplex on the Sportlaan has a bouldering room run by the municipality's sports service. Its walls are up to 4 metres high, so no ropes or other protection are needed, and a large crash mat covers the floor. Problems at different levels mean beginners and more experienced climbers can both enjoy it.
You book the room online through the municipality's reservation system, for one, two or four people or for the whole room. Groups can book it too, for a birthday party, a team-building day or an outing from a holiday camp. Residents of Sint-Pieters-Leeuw pay a lower rate, and groups of ten or more pay one price for the session rather than per person.Children under 12 must have at least one adult with them. You must bring a clean pair of indoor shoes or gym slippers, as shoes you've worn outside aren't allowed on the walls; climbing in socks or barefoot is fine too.
As we last found them. Prices change, so check the wall's website before you go.
