About

A roped wall in the leisure centre

The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Centre on Bruce Williams Way, formerly Ken Marriott Leisure Centre, is Rugby's main leisure centre, run by Better (GLL). Alongside its pools, gym, sports hall, soft play and athletics track it has an indoor climbing wall in the main concourse.

The wall

  • 9 metres high and 13 metres wide, with a replica rock finish.
  • 11 protected lines for lead climbing and top-roping, with two routes set per line and around 700 holds.
  • A slab and an overhang with natural features such as pockets, cracks, crimps and tufas, so there is climbing for beginners through to advanced climbers.
