Bouldering at Weston Favell

The Pinnacle Bouldering Centre is the bouldering-only sister of The Pinnacle Climbing Centre in Far Cotton. Inside Weston Favell Shopping Centre, it has around 850m² of climbing on walls up to 4.5 metres, with about 150 problems graded V0 to V8+ that are reset regularly, from a dedicated beginners' area to steep, competition-style blocks. A fresh Block of the Week goes up every Thursday at 5pm.

Training and facilities

  • A 2024 LED MoonBoard, a campus board and fingerboards, included with entry
  • A strength and conditioning gym with a squat rack, kettlebells, dumbbells, an air bike, ski erg, rower and running machine
  • Two themed kids' bouldering rooms, the Space Room and the Cenote Room, joined by a tunnel
  • A café, a gear and shoe shop, and shoe and chalk bag hire

Getting started

New climbers need a short induction before bouldering on their own: a 30-minute Bouldering Induction (£30), a Family Introduction to Bouldering (£60) or a 3-Week Boulder Intro Course (£65, age 14+). Coaching, masterclasses, RockeeZ kids' clubs and a weekly Monday pizza social also run here.

Visiting

Entry and memberships cover both Pinnacle centres on the same day. The shopping centre has 1,600 free parking spaces (three hours free).
