About

UCLL's climbing wall in Heverlee

UC Leuven-Limburg (UCLL) has a climbing wall in Unit 3 of its sports hall on the Hertogstraat in Heverlee, part of Sportcampus Heverlee. During the academic year its sports service runs coached climbing sessions there twice a week, with a coach on hand to teach the right techniques. Beginners and experienced climbers are both welcome.

Who can climb

The sessions are for holders of a sports card, which is open to students, former students and staff of UCLL and KU Leuven. UCLL students can add the card when they enrol online, staff can apply for it online, and a day sports card can also be bought online. Each session has to be booked online through Sportcampus Heverlee, and you pay at the sports secretariat by card.

Sessions

Climbing runs on Monday evenings from 18:00 to 22:00 and Wednesday evenings from 18:00 to 21:00, from late September to mid-May. Bring indoor sports shoes, or climbing shoes if you have them: harnesses and belay devices are provided.
