The Saputo Climbing Centre is the climbing wall inside the Martensville Recreation Centre, the city's new multi-sport complex on the west side of the Highway 12 overpass, a short drive north of Saskatoon. The centre opened in stages from autumn 2024 and is managed by Nustadia Recreation. The wall is named after the dairy company Saputo, whose $50,000 Legacy Program gift helped to pay for it.
The main wall is a plywood face with eight auto-belay lines and routes of varying difficulty. Every climber must use the auto-belays, as no other roped climbing is allowed. Beside it is a small beginner bouldering area for climbing without any equipment. Harnesses are provided; bring clean indoor trainers.
As we last found them. Prices change, so check the wall's website before you go.
- Drop-in: $12.50 plus GST and PST ($13.88)
- Harness included
- Private parties and team-building events: price on request
- Prices exclude tax
