Andorra's national training wall

This indoor climbing wall is part of the Centre de Tecnificació Esportiva d'Ordino (CTEO), the Andorran Government's national training centre on Carrer Narciso Yepes in Ordino. The centre serves athletes on the ARA high-performance programme and the national federations' development squads, and the Andorran mountaineering federation (FAM) uses the wall mainly to train its sport-climbing teams.

The wall

The wall measures about 12 by 12 metres and has 10 roped routes of different grades. It has a slight overhang at the side and a 4-metre overhang in the middle, which makes it a good place to work on technique and harder moves, though it suits people learning to climb as well.

Who climbs here

• Sessions are scheduled: the federation's squads train here, and the wall can be hired by the hour from the Government.
• The Club Pirinenc Andorrà runs weekly climbing courses for adults and for children aged 7 and over from September to June. You need a FAM licence and club membership to join, and the 2026-27 groups are full, with waiting lists.
• The wall hosts rounds of the Andorran sport-climbing circuit, including the Open d'Escalada CTEO-FAM on 14 November 2026.
