Fantastic climbing location

A friend and I visit once a week and absolutely love it here. There’s a great variety of routes for all skill levels. Other climbers are always friendly and respectful, and staff are always helpful. Naff and Nathan in particular are good fun and patient with our constant questions.

Routes are regularly reset, and with the size of the centre it means there’s always new routes to try.

Rock Over Climbing Bolton is a premier indoor climbing centre located at 21 Lostock Lane, Lostock, Bolton BL6 4BL. Opened in October 2022, this facility offers a welcoming environment for climbers of all ages and skill levels.  

Climbing Facilities:

• Bouldering Areas: Extensive bouldering sections with routes suitable for beginners to advanced climbers.

• Instructional Sessions: Adult and family induction courses are available to introduce newcomers to climbing fundamentals.  

Additional Amenities:

• On-Site Café: A comfortable space to relax and enjoy refreshments between climbs.

• Climbing Shop: Offers a range of climbing gear and accessories for purchase.

• Transport Links: Easily accessible via the 575 bus route from Bolton University, with the Cambridge Road bus stop just a 10-minute walk away. Horwich Parkway train station is also nearby, approximately a 15-minute walk from the centre.
