Rock On Climbing is an independent bouldering gym at 474 Front Street East. It packs 1,650 square feet of bouldering walls, about 15 feet high, above a padded floor, with new problems set every week and around 100 feet of windows letting in natural light. A dedicated training area includes an adjustable Kilter Board, and the gym is air-conditioned and disinfected daily.
Staff run public sessions on weekday afternoons and evenings and through the day at weekends. Outside those hours it is a members-only space: members let themselves in with a key fob to climb at any hour, and can bring up to two paying guests.
Climbing is recommended for children aged 12 and over; under-12s must be accompanied by a guardian at all times, and member hours are for adults only. Parking is in nearby Green P car parks, plus a few spaces belonging to the gym.

“It looks small but they have enough number of problems in each section. For the beginner this gym can be hard to work on, but the each problems are so fun to solve. 24/7 member access is crazy…”
“Nice little gym that opens 24/7. Be aware to the grading of the climbs are heavily sandbagged lol I’d say their V3 is more like V5 else where.”
