Pasadena, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Pasadena Place is the Town of Pasadena's multi-purpose recreation centre on Tenth Avenue. The province announced the building in 2011 as a $7.7 million, roughly 1,400 m² project, with a rock climbing wall, a walking track and a community kitchen among its planned features. Today the centre has a fitness centre, a double-court gymnasium, three multipurpose rooms, a community kitchen, a walking track, an indoor and outdoor stage and the rock wall.
The rock wall is part of the town's recreation programme. 'Drop-in Rockwall' is listed alongside sessions such as pickleball, yoga, boot camp and youth sports, and the wall is also used in the town's holiday camps for children, such as the Easter 2025 camp for kindergarten to grade 6. The town doesn't publish the wall's height, drop-in times or fees online, and its recreation page asks residents to follow its Facebook page for the latest schedules, so contact the centre before you go.
