Nottingham, England, United Kingdom
Nottingham Climbing Centre Lenton is the bouldering-only sister site of NCC's roped centre at New Basford, in a large industrial unit on Prospect Place, Lenton. It bills itself as Nottingham's newest bouldering venue.
Beginners can book a one-hour Open Bouldering Intro (18+), and families a one-hour Family Boulder Taster that teaches adults to supervise their children. Bouldering Academy offers small-group coaching for climbers wanting to move beyond the lower grades, and one-to-one coaching is available by phone. There is a weekly women's social night on Thursday evenings.
There's a one-off registration fee, which also covers the New Basford centre. Shoes and harnesses can be hired, and the centre has a small shop, indoor bike parking, a pool table and a work area with free wifi.

“Really good bouldering centre with a lot going for it, but held back slightly by the pricing. … At £12, the entry fee rivals peak London prices.”
“…state of the art walls, holds and setting. … Love how sections are set here as well, so there’s loads of new stuff and different levels every week.”
“There is a separate area with Tension board, spray wall, moon board and simple weights setup with hang boards.”
