Moss Klatresenter

Moss Klatresenter is a bouldering centre at Værftsgata 22 on Jeløy in Moss, in a building it shares with PP+ and Moss Padel. Its founders set it up after years of travelling out of town to climb, and describe it as the first climbing centre in Moss with a full bouldering facility.

Climbing

• Bouldering: a 220 m² centre with problems for all levels and thick fixed matting under the walls.
• Equipment: climbing shoes and chalk bags can be hired.

Opening hours and booking

The centre is open from 06:00 to 24:00 every day of the year. Staff are on site on Monday to Thursday evenings and on Saturday afternoons; at other times you book entry in the MATCHi app or website and receive an entry code. Drop-in tickets, visit cards and half-year cards are all sold through MATCHi.

Courses and events

You need no experience, course or belay certificate to boulder here, and staff are happy to help first-timers, though there is an optional beginners' course. Weekly training groups run for children aged 7–11 and 12–15, and the Buldrekarusellen series of social bouldering competitions for children and adults runs through the season. Children under 13 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times, and 13 to 17-year-olds can climb alone once a guardian has signed the liability form.
