MetroRock Everett is at 69 Norman Street, reached from Air Force Road, with ample parking and a shuttle van from Wellington station on the MBTA Orange Line. With 30,000 sq ft of climbing terrain it is one of the largest climbing gyms around Boston, and part of MetroRock's group of gyms in Massachusetts, Vermont and Brooklyn.
The gym covers bouldering, auto-belays, top rope and lead on tall roped walls, with a competition training area at the back where problems are set in comp style. A board room, spray wall, hangboards and a weight-training area cover strength work. Boulders are reset on Mondays and ropes from Tuesday to Thursday. Lead ropes aren't for hire, so leaders bring their own.
Four community nights a week offer a $20 day pass with rental gear from 15:00: Ladies Night on Mondays, a rope-climbing meet-up on Tuesdays, BIPOC Night on Thursdays and College Night on Fridays. The gym also has high ropes challenge courses for groups, and runs birthday parties, overnights and private events. It hosts competitions too, including rounds of the Dark Horse bouldering series and USA Climbing youth events.

“Not too busy most of the time, lots of walls, especially ropes. There’s some super tall walls too which is awesome. Employees and members are really chill.”
“Great routes. Changes routes in rotation. Climbs aren't just up and down. Many are puzzles. Excellent and fair rating system. All ages, all levels welcome…”
“…Another huge plus is the kids program. The classes are well taught, engaging, and genuinely fun.”
