The Marymoor Climbing Wall, signed as the Marymoor Climbing Practice Facility, is a free public climbing structure in King County's Marymoor Park in Redmond. Work on it began in 1994, and it rises about 30 ft in a cluster of concrete spires and intersecting walls inside a fenced, wood-chip enclosure just south-east of the velodrome.
Sculpted concrete faces sit alongside brick panels studded with holds. Mountain Project lists 47 climbs: slabby, knobbly faces, steep walls with pockets and thin edges, a large roof, overhangs, stemming corners, arêtes and fist-sized cracks. Sport routes have bolted clips and single-bolt lower-offs, several are climbed on top rope, and there is plenty of bouldering around the base.
The Mountaineers have used the wall for club climbs and practice sessions on their alpine climbing courses. Loose or broken holds and bolts should be reported to the Marymoor Park office.
