Porsangerhallen, also known as Storhallen, is Porsanger kommune's big indoor multi-use hall in Lakselv, with a 40 x 64 m artificial-turf pitch and five changing rooms with toilets and showers. As well as football, fairs and other events, it has a 12 m climbing wall and a bouldering wall.
Lemmivaara Klatreklubb has climbed here since the hall was built in 1995, and the municipality asks anyone who wants to use the wall to contact the club. The club's website says a climbing supervisor is always present on its climbing days and checks both climber and belayer, and that climbing is at your own risk, so you need insurance that covers it.
Porsanger kommune also hires out the climbing wall by the hour, but only to qualified users. Its 2026 rates are NOK 437 an hour for local clubs and NOK 750 for other hirers, and the hall is also hired for climbing meets. Bookings go through the municipality's BookUp system.
The municipality's 2025 plan for sports facilities placed the club's project to refurbish and extend the wall third on its priority list, after the club got written permission to carry out the work. The club's website also describes outdoor climbing at Karalaks and at a crag it bolted at Brennelv.
