Lakewood, Colorado, United States
The Lakewood Link Recreation Center is one of the City of Lakewood's recreation centres, on South Reed Street. Alongside a fitness centre, an indoor leisure pool with play features and a gymnastics centre, it has a climbing wall of about 2,000 square feet with routes for first-timers and experienced climbers, used for bouldering, top-rope and lead climbing.
The wall opens to the public in booked open-wall sessions, which in autumn 2026 run on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings. Each session needs a use fee or a 10-visit climbing pass and must be reserved in advance, online or at the front desk. Staff are on hand to belay on a first-come basis, climbing shoes can be rented, and climbers from the age of three can take part.
Climbing birthday parties run on Saturdays, with an hour on the wall supervised by Lakewood's climbing staff and time in a party room.
As we last found them. Prices change, so check the wall's website before you go.
