Kragerø Klatreklubb runs an indoor climbing wall with a bouldering area at Løkkebakken 8 in Kragerø, and also climbs outdoors around the town.
There is no regular indoor climbing on Wednesdays during school holidays. Adult members with a top-rope card or Brattkort can use the wall every day, as long as nothing else is on.
The club no longer runs open-wall sessions. If you want to try climbing, you can come along on a Wednesday and climb once or twice; after that you need a top-rope card or Brattkort, or must climb with a card holder who takes responsibility for you. The club runs top-rope and lead courses from age 13, which prepare you for the top-rope card and the Brattkort, and holds the tests. Shoes and harnesses are lent free of charge.
As we last found them. Prices change, so check the wall's website before you go.
