St. Johann in Tirol, Tyrol, Austria
Koasa Boulder is a bouldering hall on Salzburgerstraße in St. Johann in Tirol, integrated into the youth centre, with about 800 m² of climbing in all. The heart of it is an indoor bouldering area of around 400 m², with steep walls and big volumes, and there's a separate indoor family area of about 160 m². Outside are another 160 m² of bouldering and a small lead-climbing area of about 75 m². Café Chalk, inside the hall, is the place for a break, and the hall works with the St. Johann section of the Alpenverein (Wilder Kaiser).
The hall is open every day from 08:00 to 22:00. Café Chalk is staffed from 17:00 on weekdays and from 16:00 at weekends and on public holidays; outside those hours, entry is self-service with a ticket bought at the nearby BP petrol station. Day tickets, 10-visit blocks and annual passes are sold, with reductions for members of the Alpenverein sections in St. Johann and Kitzbühel, and a combined annual card also covers KletterKitz, the climbing hall in Kitzbühel. Shoes are included in the ticket for children aged three to five. Weekly climbing training for children aged four and up and six and up runs on Wednesday afternoons, booked online through the hall's website.

“It’s very much a self service gym, you enter a gas station to buy and buy entrance to the bouldering area … The bouldering area isn’t small but also isn’t massive”
