Klyv Klatresenter is Sauda's own climbing centre, "for big and small climbers", at Skulegata 27. It is run in cooperation with the local club, Sauda Klatreklubb, and offers bouldering, rope climbing and auto-belays in modern premises. Walltopia built the walls, completed in 2025, with about 843 m² of climbing surface for everyone from beginners to experienced climbers.
Drop in during the staffed hours at weekends: an adult ticket costs NOK 130 and under-18s pay NOK 80. Every climber must sign the centre's waiver before climbing, which can be done online, and drop-in tickets, equipment hire and period cards are sold in the centre's online shop. You must be trained before using the auto-belays, which take climbers from 15 kg to 120 kg. Members with a key card can climb from 06:00 to 22:00 every day.
Membership of Sauda Klatreklubb costs NOK 200 a year and brings discounts on period cards and climbing equipment. The club runs group training sessions, children's climbing and Brattkort courses at the centre.
As we last found them. Prices change, so check the wall's website before you go.
